Why can't I just pay once?
Your membership powers the platform that connects your devices, processes your data, and delivers AI and software updates. A one-time purchase would mean a frozen product. Arccos is built to keep getting better.
Can I pause during the offseason?
We don't currently offer a pause option. To keep your membership as simple and affordable as possible, we focus on annual subscriptions.
For most golfers, the subscription is a small fraction of total golf expenditure, and a modest cost on a per-round basis. So the edge that Arccos gives you will quickly pay for itself. Many Arccos members also find they play more as they improve, and travel to play at any time of year.

What's the difference between Arccos Air and Smart Sensors?
Similar features. Different setup. Air tracks shots without the need for a phone in your pocket, nor sensors on your clubs, for the quickest, easiest way to track every shot. Smart Sensors provide automatic club tagging, when paired with your phone or Apple Watch, or in combination with the Air wearable. Use both together, for the richest data and phone-free convenience.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It stays in your account. Renew your membership anytime and it's all there.
Why does a range finder need a membership?
The Arccos Smart Laser Rangefinder requires a membership because it is a real-time device. It syncs with real-time data, including wind and weather for your precise location to calculate "plays like" distances. Plus membership gives you access to cutting edge shot-by-shot AI Strategy based on your specific data and tendencies, up-to-date Green Maps for 1000's of courses, and free software updates.
Do I need Game Tracking to use the Smart Laser?
No. Smart Laser works on its own. Add Game Tracking later if you want.
Is the data accurate?
1.5 billion shots tracked. Validated by PGA TOUR players. 15+ patents. For the Smart Laser, "Plays Like" distances are accurate to 1 yard, from up to 999 yards, and based on 800,000 real-world measurements.
